This is me

I've decided to follow in a friend's footsteps and create a little something to help you guys get to know the awesome me!

So let me start by saying that I'm 21 years old, going on 22 this August, I'm a Virgo and proud of that fact ^_^ I have super long brown hair with hazel eyes~

My name is JolieAnn, Jolie for short! It means 'pretty' in French  ^_^

Speaking of French, it is my second language! Though ... I'm a bit rusty, I took three full years of French in high school!

I'm a bit of an oddball, as some of the only people that are close to me have witnessed. When I first meet people, I'm very standoffish, and hold an air of superiority ... I don't know why, but I do ... I guess it's because I don't like meeting new people in person and would like the ones that do meet me to see me as someone who I'm not ...

That brings me to my terrible self confidence ... it sucks ... really ...
I spend hours of my life thinking of what I could do to be better ... a better voice,  better hair ... no freckles ... thinner ... I try to assure myself I'm beautiful as I am ... but I can't ...
I honestly am afraid to draw too much because I fear my art will never be good ...
I was terrified to ever upload my first fanfiction years ago!

I'm a huge crybaby ... I'll cry over anything ...

I am an aspiring author! Some of you already know this ^_^ but I want to write books when I have the time! fantasy! romance! action! I want to write it all! I have dreams of being a well renowned author!

BUT! only because I want to see my work gain a fandom XD I will be part of that fandom!
Do you have any idea how badly I want to have a fanbase so I can write fanfiction of my own work and write a claimer! Not a disclaimer, but an actual 'I own this!!!!' The  of course see what pairings people can come up with XD

I'm weird, I know ^_^ when you really get to know me, this side opens up! I become a talkative little shit that thinks she's funny ^_^ though, my humor is mostly based on the fandoms I'm in ^_^

I'm a HetaStuck! Recently introduced to the Homestuck fandom

I like to consider myself modest and often don't take compliments well ... once again, my self esteem....

I do, however have outrageous burst of awesome where I truly believe I'm absolutely gorgeous ^_^ I am extremely happy on these days!

I think the GamTav pic I drew recently is one of my best works, which is weird since it's just a doodle!

I can't begin to tell you what my favorite movie is, but I can tell you my favorite color is green ^_^ it used to be lavender, but OMG have you seen how gorgeous green can be? XD It looks damn good on my, too!

I love ALL types of music, so long as if the lyrics can be understood, they are nice!
Rap, though, is my least favorite of the genres ... mostly because it's hard for me to find really good songs to listen to o.o

I don't have a favorite band right now, but I can tell you I'm really not fond of ICP D: their music scares the crap out of me ... like ... really ... have you ever just listened to the lyrics ... this is saying a lot because I adore Creature Feature's song Such Horrible Things and the band Blood On the Dance Floor ... o.o  the melody and music part is okay, I guess, but the rest ... *shudders*

I am not in school anymore, but I'm dying to be! I think I'm one of the few people on Earth that absolutely loved going to school and learning! I always had the best teachers ... it was the students I couldn't stand  

I don't really know my father ... he has been out of my life for years ... blocked me on facebook and everything ...

I have three siblings ^_^ two bros and a sis! They have been the only thing keeping me in this house for years ^_^ I have to protect them!

My lucky numbers are six and 12, especially 12 o.o I don't know why ... I just like the number?

I broke my arm on my 13th birthday ^_^
I've had two surgeries since I turned 18 o.o one invasive, the only not ...

I have always dreamed of cosplay, but can never get my shit together DX

I used to have a really awesome best friend ... but when I moved out of the apartment ... we've talked a total of maybe three times ... she doesn't text me anymore and it hurts to think we used to be really close ...

I'm and avid shipper of wonderful things XD SpaMano is my OTP, no other pairing has ever compared XD

If you've read any of my rants, You'll know my pet peeves XD there are several things I can't stand and the list could very well take up this entire page O.O

I guess that's all for now ^_^ I'm going to go draw some, practice facial features and clothing ... I'm terrible at that XD
